Avalon Mesa at Gen Con: Now Part of Savage Saturday Night, One Spot Still Free

If you’re looking for the Avalon Mesa, you’ve come to the right place. Well, unless you’re looking for information about a cosmetology school with campuses in Utah and Arizona that apparently has us beat on Google right now. We’re not those people. We don’t know anything about cosmetology.

But we do know about the Arthurian Old West, because we are currently in the process of making it up. If you’re looking for that Avalon Mesa, congratulations. You’re here.

We’ve previously mentioned that we’re going to be bringing a little slice of the Avalon Mesa to Gen Con this year. Signups have been closed for a couple of weeks, but after a scheduling conflict arose and one of the players had to back out, there’s one spot left for one of you lucky Illuminerduses (Illuminerdae?) out there. Sign up now!

Perhaps even more exciting, Pinnacle Entertainment Group (the publishers of Savage Worlds, the base system for our Avalon Mesa) reached out to us a few weeks ago, and asked if we’d be willing to make Avalon Mesa part of their Savage Saturday Night! Of course, we accepted. We’re excited to bring our game to you…and hope you’re looking forward to playing.

See you at Gen Con.

Kennon “the Universe” Bauman is a professional analyst and lapsed historian who really, really doesn’t know anything about cosmetology. He was not kidding when he said that before. You can find Kennon’s bite-sized musings on Twitter @theUniverseGM.

  1. I’m telling Liz that you think she knows nothing about cosmetology.

  2. And then when people ask me why I have a black eye at Gen Con, I’ll have to tell them that I ran into a door.
